A Trip to Nowhere
Shedding light on the forced deportation of over 1.2 million Polish women and children to the frigid Soviet labor camps of Siberia during WWII
Spearheaded by the Polish Ladies Auxiliary of Seattle, this graphic novel and animated documentary fufill a lifelong promise made by the ladies themselves - to bring this tragic and secret part of history into schools and libraries around the world.
Afraid to discuss their pasts until the early 1990's, the ladies share their stories of survival, outrage and heartbreak through candid interviews and vivid, animated recreations.
